Sordina S.p.A. is a company specializing in the engineering, manufacturing and sales of high technology appliances for hospital in particular operating tables and sterilization machines.

Through alliances recently established, Sordina is able to provide qualified consulting activities for the complete CSSD and operating theatre engineering as well as full technical and regulatory training of the customer’s personnel for a correct use of the equipment supplied.

Sordina is a rapidly growing entrepreneurial reality based on technical skills, innovation and total quality, and by a young and dynamic management structure which has proven able to lead more than 200 highly qualified subsuppliers.

Today Sordina is steered by a new anagement team taking advantage of an over a century experience of the former Giuseppe Sordina, the historical Italian company specialized in the engineering applied to surgery and sterilization since 1880.

In fact, in 1880 Sordina engineered and performed the first mechanical operating table and some decades later it built its first sterilizer.

Already at the end of the nineteenth century Sordina was cooperating tightly with the Engineering Department of Padova University, one of the most famous and ancient Italian university.

Sordina is proactive in leading its suppliers and partners in the quest of quality, cooperation and innovation, taking advantage not only of its century long experience, but fostering the contribution, skill, specialization and vision of its business partners.

In this way, an ideal flow of cooperation is being developed in the design, suppliers selection, final testing and customer delivery, so that all these activities can be factored together in order to generate the “customer satisfaction”.

After having successfully launched the MT System, Sordina has just introduced a range of new products, the fixed table top operating tables of the family ST , which shortly after its presentation in the marketplace has rapidly become a favourite in both the domestic and foreign markets.

The “time to market” has been particularly short thanks to the rich and deep knowledge existing in Sordina as to conception, design and production of operating tables and thanks to the interaction with suppliers and partners alike. Thins means that Sordina, besides its managers, employees, shop floor workers and maintenance engineers/technicians, also encompasses the expertise, know-how, dedication and cooperation of a great deal of “extraordinary partners”.

Although Sordina being a relatively small company, the management enjoys a senior level of experience and a successful track record in both industrial and medical fields, domestically and abroad.
